This research paper was written for the course E515 Syntax. The aim of the paper was to gain in-depth knowledge to teach a grammatical topic that I was assigned. My research topic was Infinitive and Gerund Complements of Verbs. I reviewed relevant literature and organized data for ESL/ESL teachers to help teach this topic. After completing this research, I gained knowledge
about infinitive and gerund complements of verbs. I'll be able to teach EFL/ESL learners about subtle differences of the two complements of verbs.
